HASEGAWA YU’ICHI (B. 1945)
His rich and heavily textured woodblock prints are made by the reduction method, of carving the same block, printing and effacing up to twenty times. Influenced by the deep spirituality of Zen and the immense time and space of the universe, his images are born from various forms of creation, which can be observed in nature.
